I was so unbelievably lucky to be able to visit Kerala, in Southern India for 10 days, the culturally diverse and beautiful scenery gave me a chance to experiment with my new toy: 550D Canon with an 18-135mm lens. Before leaving, I did some research into the "Do's & Donts" of photography in India , but everyone I met there seemed thrilled to have their picture taken. New experiences such as the 'The Kathakali dance', where a man, covered in fantastic face paint, used facial expressions to tell the story of the gods, and while staying on a house boat for a few nights (with hundreds of bugs), I was given the chance to experiment with landscape shots and different light settings. Once home, I looked for other sites in India where previous photographers have visited and captured some unbelievable images... I think next time I’ll visit Northern India .
